Hunter Hoffman authored a
two-hitter as the Bulldogs bested Bowler. Hoffman struck out six and
walked just two. Loser Paul Murphy was equal to the task allowing
just five hits, while striking out 13 and walking
four.
Bowler's defense was again the
problem as they committed four errors to account for the Leopolis
runs.The winners scored twice in the first inning on hits by Tyler
Dillenberg and Hunter Hoffman, a walk to Justin Reminger and a Bowler
error. They added their final two runs in the fifth on a Dillenberg
hit, a walk to Reminger another Bowler error and Kyle Hoffman's sac
fly accounted for a pair of runs.
Tyler Dillenberg led the
Bulldogs going 2 for 4. Justin Reminger was 1 for 1 with three walks,
Hunter Hoffman was 1 for 4, and Austin Hoffman was 1 for 4.
For Bowler, Andy Pierzchalski
and Kyle Wolf each had a double.
TIGERTON 12 LITTLE FALLS 8
Nick Desrochers was the winning
pitcher with Jerry Mork taking the loss and Tigerton downed the
Loggers. No other information was available.
EASTERN DIVISION
NEOPIT 8 GRESHAM 7
Gresham jumped out to a 7-0
first inning lead against Alex Peters, but Wil Corn came on to
throttle the Gophers the rest of the way as Neopit rallied to defeat
Gresham.
Corn was the winning pitcher.
Adam Carroll took the loss.
Sasweon Waukechon led the Chiefs
offense with a Grand Slam Homer in the sixth that gave the winners
the lead for good. Aaron Waukau was 3 for 4 and Alex Peters was 2 for
3.
Aric Quinney led Greham going 2
for 4. Nate Ejnik added a double.
CLINTONVILLE 3 MARION 0
John Dunlavy tossed a shutout as
the A's snuck past the Meisters. Cody Reimer took the loss.
Jesse Wiley led the winners who
had six hits, going 3 for 4. John Dunlavy added a double.
Marion had a total of four hits.

Rick Boda and Marv Meronk combined
on a two-hit shutout as the WhiskeyJacks whipped the Engineers. Boda
got the win while Austin Murdock took the loss.
Elderon led 4-0 after three and
added a three more in the fifth to take a commanding 7-0 lead and
coasted home.
Rob Wyman had a three-run homer
and Matt Meronk had a two-run blast to pace the winners. Justin and
Marv Meronk each added doubles while Kasey Morgan, Troy Leiskau, Tom
Lehman and Mike Lehman each had one hit.
Greg Matz and Tyler Betry had
hits for Eland.
ANIWA 14 WITTENBERG 6
Aniwa scored thirteen runs over
the middle three innings as they downed Wittenberg. The winners
scored six in the fourth, four in the fifth and three more in the
sixth to take a commanding 14-2 lead.
Denton Mortenson was the winning
pitcher. Dom Anderson took the loss working 4-2/3innings.
Scott Farmer lead the Orioles
with a double and home run. Luke Kolz, Brian Hoppe, Mike McCann and
Bryce Meverden each had two hits. Meverden and Jared Szews each had a
double.
For Wittenberg, Tim Kurtzhal was
2 for 5, Jason Deruchwski was 2 for4, Cody White was 2 for4 with a
double and Dom Anderson had a double.
